people, especially those in the evacuation centers, are cold and hungry and afraid. they look to you for leadership. yet, you still choose to play your game of the captains (in the barangay).

please, the relief goods were donated by generous individuals so that your people won’t starve, so that their needs may be attended to, so that their distress and discomfort may be eased a bit… the goods should not be used as currency for your politicking and positioning for next month’s elections.

is delicadeza such a rare commodity among some elected officials nowadays?
