as of september 21, 10:00 am (per dswd). while #zamboanga is slowly crawling back to “normalcy” and her people returning to routine, most of the people at the grandstand are sweltering in the daytime and shivering in the night. although food is sufficient, nutrition is not. while a lot of people huddle in their homes in fear and suspicion and anger, most of these bakwit won’t have houses to go back to, their homes and belongings part of the more than 10,000 houses that were razed in an effort to gain a tactical advantage. there are lessons to be learned in this #zambocrisis for everyone. today is the #internationaldayofpeace and in the silence of my heart, i whisper a prayer that the armed conflict ends today, that the seeds of #peace may be sowed, that zamboanga may begin to recover and rebuild. #prayforzamboanga #prayforpeace (at Joaquin F.
