pyp dies?! yeah, an arrow through the jugular will do that. :| now i know how it feels when a non-book fan is shocked by the death of a character.

like arya, we who have read the book also have in our thoughts a litany of people-who-will-die. so we’re not shocked by the event as much as by the unimagined goriness of the scene when translated to television (remember ned’s beheading, the red wedding, and joffrey and oberyn’s deaths?) we are saddened also by ygritte dying in jon’s arms. in the book, mercifully, jon was spared that. “you know nothing, jon snow.”

spoiler alert! (“,) now i’m really looking forward to episode 10! *in a singsong voice* tywin, shae, sandor. hehehe.ü and perhaps catelyn and gregor reanimated? and no, tyrion doesn’t die. hahaha!ü
