something “new” connotes a change from a previous state; and, hopefully, a “positive difference”. but almost always the new becomes old; and old things (and promises, and paradigms, and people) are often taken granted and forgotten.
may you always appreciate the “new-ness”… of the year, of things and toys, of family and friends, of sorrow and joys.
may your resolutions reflect your “newness”. and may they fill the world with goodness and peace.
may you continuously make a difference in your own little corner of the world.
may you have the grace to recognize how blessed you have been and how blessed you are.
