it was my first sseayp reunion on board (rob). on the 40th year of the program, it was OUR nippon maru that docked. repainted, refurbished; fondly remembered.
being there, seeing familiar faces and places, taking pictures of people and things, exchanging memories with batchmates and friends… *sigh* sentimental, nostalgic, intoxicating.
the feeling you get when instead of pouring wine (and memories) into a glass and sipping it at leisure, you decide to stuff your whole being into a full bottle of a thirteen-year vintage. (“,)
